NEW DELHI: Central Park, a leading real estate developer in the Delhi/NCR region,  has organised a planation drive with Siddhi, a spiritual NGO, and planted saplings at Central Park Flower Valley.

A host of government dignitaries and celebrities such as Tejpal Tanwar (Sohna MLA); Anisha Safaya (India Universe, 2017) and Ashutosh Kaushik (Actor, Roadies and Big Boss winner) planted saplings to showcase their support for the drive.

Dr. Meenaa Mahaajjan, founder of Green Siddhi, is the force behind this noble initiative. Dr Mahaajjan was facilitated for her exemplary work towards generating awareness around issues pertaining to environment and the need for communities to come together to save the environment for future generations.

Sharing her views on the cause, Dr. Meenaa Mahaajjan said, “Nature is beautiful and it has nurtured all species for thousands of years. Urban expansion has somewhere led to exploitation. My mission as a spiritual coach has always been to share a common vision with all. It is empowering to see eminent people in the builder industry who are sensitive to environment and are creating spaces of preservation of Mother Nature. This is a way to give back. I’m happy to see that the children being brought up in Central Park properties are so connected to nature and value its existence.”

Siddhi’s association with Central Park for the plantation drive is a big message to the society that we must think beyond our personal selves and build an environment conducive for healthy living. More than 250 volunteers including Central Park residents, business partners, and Green Siddhi representatives participated in the plantation drive. Other notable personalities present during the tree plantation drive include Khalid Issar, India Business Partner, Alibaba; Shailender Sharma, MD, Lotus Group; Sidharth Zarabi, Executive Director, BTVi.
